When Street Warriorz rolled into town last year, many people in Bradenton did not know exactly what to expect. The word filtered up from Immokalee Regional Raceway, that this was one party you did not want to miss, but no one was sure how hard the fabled drag strip at Bradenton Motorsports Park was going to rock.

When the smoke cleared and people had a chance to look back on one wild weekend, everyone was saying “Man, I can’t wait until next year.” Well, next year has arrived.

March 1 Street Warriorz will head back to BMP, bringing with it everything that makes the Live Nation – Motorsports series one of the most talked-about celebrations of the street scene in the nation. There is something for everyone, but since the 2007 event was such a crushing success, Street Warriorz event director Jon O’Neal knows he will have to pull out all the stops to top last year.

“We have a few surprises in store, that’s for sure,” O’Neal said. “Last year’s event kicked ass so our friends in Bradenton have certain expectations. We will exceed those expectations with a party unlike any they have seen before. I’m pumped…I’m ready to get things going right now.”

One of those surprises will be found on the midway, where Circuit City is bringing out an interactive display that will blow you away.

There will be aa Guitar Hero stage where over the course of the night one lucky Metalhead will win a $25 Circuit City gift card. There will be another $25 gift card given away at the Circuit City slot machine. You will be able to order anything from Circuit City at the display as well as test out the Kicker Speaker sound experience. Finally, there will be Xbox 360 systems available for fans to try their hand at a number of different Xbox game titles.

“The Circuit City display is amazing,” O’Neal said. “There is so much to do and see and it’s a ton of fun.”

Street Warriorz is a series that celebrates the culture of street racing, but does so in a controlled environment. The drag strip will be prepped and ready to handle all the grudge and match racing the Street Warriorz partiers want to throw at it. No cops, no tickets, no danger. But away from the strip, around the stage and on the midway, is where the action happens.

A live DJ spinning the hottest cuts provides the background music for a party that does not stop. The hottest girls in the smallest bikinis will provide the visual backdrop for the on-stage festivities that will take your breath away.

“Last year’s bikini contest was amazing,” O’Neal said. “I expect this year’s to be even crazier.”

Just $20 will get you in the gates and access to the strip for as many passes as your ride can handle. An extra $10 will gain you entry into the USACI Car Show or the Outlaw SPL Audio Contest. You can also party near the stage with the live DJ and many other events you will not want to miss.

“The stage is the heart of the party,” O’Neal said. “We have frozen t-shirt contests, push-up contests, tattoo contests and all kinds of other crazy things to keep things going. We’re going to have a blast, and if you miss this show you will be hearing about it for a long time…until we bring the party back next year.”
