The Ohio Valley Dragway is home and host to the Torco Race Fuel Street Warriorz Series Presented by the U.S. AirForce, Featuring the 800-Safe Auto Fun N Grudge Racing, Brought by Ken Towery’s Auto Care.
Back for the 3rd year, the Street Warriroz team has brought out all of the stops. The U.S. AirForce King of the Street and KOTS BIKES! programs are giving money and trophies.
The burn out competition will once again have a cash prize for the win. And new for the Ohio Valley round, the REDLINE COMPETITION!! 2 Chevy pickups are prepared to let it all hang out. Literally. They are going to see which truck can blow up its motor in the most spectacular fashion. $200 per truck guaranteed show money, and then they are competing for the $800 prize money. Its gonna be sweet.
The Outlaw Road Show will be rocking out with the Guitar Hero Competition that has the phones buzzing with aspiring rockers wanting to show off their talents and skills.
Also, the Barely Legal Bikini Contest is one of the best of the series. Kentucky has some hotties!!
The staff was forced to open the gates to the Dragway early due to the amount of cars and trucks entering the property. The line was backed up a mile on the 31W. Once they tripped the gates open it has been a non-stop flow of young, beautiful people and cool cars streaming in. This place is going to be hopping all night long.

Torco Race Fuel Barely Legal Bikini Contest
For the first time this year, the KOTS will be an arm drop start. True street racing. No timing, the first to the stripe wins. Should be interesting. No red light fouls, if you chase, it’s a race. The KOTS and KOTS BIKES! practice session just finished up. It was an exciting session, as we had one rider onboard a Kawasaki loop out. It was a spooky moment, but the rider was alright. The bike will need some repair, but the rider is o.k.
It should be an interesting field in the KOTS. The cars and drivers seem evenly matched, except for the '95 Chevy pickup. It has twin turbos and a driver that knows how to race. Could be the first pickup to win on the KOTS tour.
With the threat of weather, the KOTS rounds will be back to back to back to back. A champion will be crowned in the next 30 minutes.
The elimination rounds of KOTS was killer. The vehicles I picked early on went to the final. An 18 year old in a Mustang, vs. a 30 something in a big block GMC 1500 pickup. That’s the pick up early stated in this article that has the twin turbos. In the final, it came down to reaction time. The GMC had been on the ball all night, with the Mustang a little off on the starts. In the final is was a reversal of fortune. The Mustang pulled the holeshot and kept the lead to the finish line.
KOTS BIKES! Winner
In the KOTS BIKES! it was a pair of Suzuki GSXr’s that came to the final, with Mark Payton coming out on top. What a great KOTS!!! It was what the fans love to see. Competitive racing!! Burn out and RedLine competition coming up.
This has to be one of the biggest turn outs this year. The Ohio Valley Dragway is the KING OF STREET WARRIORZ!!
A little bit of bad weather has rolled in to the area. Racing has been suspended at this time. By the looks of the computer forecast, it is gonna get ugly. It got ugly. Real ugly. A massive summer storm has landed over the top of the Ohio Valley Dragway at 10:05 pm. Lightening, torrential downpours and high winds. What a mess. The event was called due to the dangerous weather.
