The USACi Show and Shine, OutLaw SPL, KOTS and KOTS BIKES, The Smokey Burn Out Competition, plus the Barely Legal Bikini Contest, are the reasons for the massive turn out. This is one event the locals will not soon forget. You can already feel the excitement in the air. Not only the staff, but the racers and spectators are ready forthis thing to POP!!!

For the first time this season, we have a snowmobile. Put some wheels on the skis and go drag racing. What a great way to get summer time use out of your winter toy!!
The KOTS and KOTS BIKES! should be a good run for the cash and trophies. In the KOTS BIKES, we are going to have 3 snowmobiles competing against the bikes. The bike guys are worried, due to the fact that the sleds are SUPER consistent, no wheelies, no wheel spin. But, when you have a 1800cc, 180 mph motorcycle, you should be able to take the win. In the KOTS, we have a good lineup. A couple of Mustangs, a new GTO, a couple of Ford Probes, and an import or two and my favorite, a late 60’s or early 70’s Chevy C-10 pickup. The Chev ran an 8.0 in the 1/8th mile his first pass out of the night. First round of eliminations in 30 minutes.

In the first round of the KOTS, the hitters moved on. The 65 Mustang, the new GTO, the Mustang GT, a Mazda RX7, round number 2 coming up. In the KOTS BIKES! it was a surprise to see all 3 sleds move into the semi final. Both of the Suzuki GSXr 1800’s lost to the sleds. They had more top end speed, but the snow machines were able to hook up off the line way better. Round 2 next
Rumble Ridge has been rocking tonight!! The fans, racers and hangers on were partying it up all night long. The throng of people in front of the main stage choked off the staging lanes, forcing everyone to participate in the “dirty old man’s” games. The OutLaw RoadShow brings all sorts of activities to the stage, including “cornhole”, the “amateur tattoo contest”, and the BARELY LEGAL BIKINI CONTEST!!!
The Chevy Malibu, the ‘65 Stang, RX7 and Neon made the semi. What a way for the little Neon to show his true colors. The GTO was spraying the go fast juice, but could not keep up with the RX7. In the KOTS BIKES! it will be a Kawasaki 1400 vs. a Artic Cat snow machine. A first ever in Street Warriorz history. Bike vs. sled.
Before the KOTS program got under way, a guy in a Camaro was taken out of the field due to having racing slicks on the car. Since he was unable to compete, he stepped up and challenged the eventual winner of the KOTS to a grudge match. The Camaro is putting up $400 against the $200 that the winner gets for being King of the Street. Hopefully, just hopefully, the winner will take the challenge and add a little more flavor to the U.S. AirForce Top Gun KOTS!
Out of the semi final, the RX7 and the ’65 Mustang won their way to the final. In the main event, the Mustang blew the doors off of the Mazda. In the KOTS BIKES!, it was a bike to take the win. The Kawasaki ZX-14 was able to hold off the Artic Cat 800 twin for the overall win. Thank god a bike won the race!

After the final of KOTS, the Mustang took the challenge from the full race Camaro. The ‘Stang was given a car length lead, nut he needed 3 or 4. The Camaro came off of the line and walked to an easy victory, In the burn out contest, the new Camaro took out all comers. The Thunderbird gave it a good effort, but the crowd chose the Chevy. What a night, the Bikini Contest was off of the hook. Sooo many good looking ladies, with barely anything on!! SkyView Drag ROCKS!!!
