Flatout Group Strengthens Ties with IHRA

The International Hot Rod Association is pleased to announce that longtime sponsor Flatout Group LLC will continue to support the sanctioning body and its racers as a Major Contingency Sponsor. Throwing its full backing behind the organization for the ninth consecutive year, Flatout will underwrite a contingency program for IHRA competitors.

“We’re excited to rejoin IHRA for our ninth year and look forward to a great season in 2009,” said Mark Adelizzi of Flatout Group. “With our business conditions and growth proving favorable so far this year, we felt that IHRA drag racing offered an outstanding value for our marketing programs.”

“Flatout is poised for another great year of continued growth,” said Adelizza. “With the 2009 Flatout Gaskets catalog driving sales, Flatout has positioned itself as a leader in performance, muscle car and custom/restoration gaskets.”

“We’re very pleased that Flatout Group is continuing to support the IHRA and its racers,” said Kurt Oberholtzer, IHRA Director of Contingency and Official Products. “Everyone involved with the operation has been great to work with and are dedicated to the promotion of IHRA drag racing. We look forward to many more years together.”

The 2009 Flatout Gaskets catalog covers popular performance aftermarket engine applications. Rubber Coated Copper (RCC) and SaberSeal MLS head gaskets, intake, header gaskets along with specialized, low volume and custom applications are also available to enthusiasts, racers and engine builders.

“We’ve updated some equipment, including a bigger and better 6’ x 12’ Flow waterjet machine, said Adelizzi. “Even with the slowing economy, we’ve seen a nice upturn in sales during the last six months."

Flatout Group, which was established in 1998, has been manufacturing performance automotive gaskets since 2000 and is also known for its quality metal fabrication business. Flatout Gaskets and Flatout Fabrications feature products made for all forms of motorsports and general business.
