At Pittsburgh Raceway Park two more competitors captured the Summit SuperSeries Team Finals Division 3 Championship and the opportunity to go to Rockingham Dragway October 22-25.

Scotty Phillips beat Albert Donell in the finals to win the Box Class championship. Phillips from Dragway 42, ran a 8.25 on a 8.19 dial. Donell red light with a -.0085 dial.

In the No Box class, Kanawha Valley’s Greg Savage won on a hole shot taking out Ken Iamele from New York International.

Phillips and Savage will be in Rockingham during the IHRA World Finals to compete against the Summit Super Series division champions that will be determined at the remaining Summit Team Finals over the next several weeks. They will be competing for their share of the $250,000 in cash and prizes that will be awarded at the World Finals.
