2009 IHRA CONTINGENCY SPONSORS REQUIREMENTS AND NOTES SPONSOR/ PRODUCT ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Accurate Image Decals/Decals or Racing T-Shirts
Racers are required to spend a minimum $450.00 per car and placement of contingency decals visible on both sides of race car for entire event. This can be purchase of lettering or racing T-shirts.

Altronics Inc. (all products)
Applicants must be registered prior to event for the product they are claiming.
Must sign an advertising release, and proof of purchase required.
Un-altered decals - one on each side of the car in a clearly visible location for entire event.
Claim is not valid if competing decals are present on car during event.
The product must be purchased within 3 years from the date of the event.

ATI Performance Products/Super Case-Transmission-Torque Converter
Torque Converter- Decal (not stacked or obscured), Product, Advertising Release, and Proof of Purchase for a new or refreshed converter within 5 years of event.
Transmission- Decal (not stacked or obscured), Product, Advertising Release, Proof of Purchase for a new or refreshed converter within 3 years of event.
Super Case- Decal (not stacked or obscured), Product, Advertising Release, and Proof of Purchase.

Braswell Carburetion/ B-7520 Carburetor
Contingency paid on B-7520 carburetor only. Un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car.

Brodix Aluminum Blocks and Aluminum Heads
Un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car for entire event.

BTE Racing/Torque Converter, Automatic Transmission
Decal must be standard size, displayed on both sides of car. NO stacking for multiple products. Proof of purchase including a copy of the invoice and the serial number are required for payment. You must be the original purchaser of the product from BTE or a BTE jobber or W.D. All products must be purchased and/or freshened or re-certified by BTE within 24 months from the date of the event.
Release forms for the product and advertising must be supplied to BTE from the Owner and/or Driver. Must agree to use of car/driver in advertising.

Coan Engineering/Torque Converter
Requires proof of purchase, serial number, and advertising release. Racer must have correct, unaltered decals, visible on both sides of car for entire event.

Coan Engineering/Automatic Transmission
Requires proof of purchase, serial number, and advertising release. Racer must have correct, unaltered decals, visible on both sides of car for entire event.

COMP Cams
Product must be 3 years or newer. Before contingency will be paid, proof of purchase, warranty card or camshaft serial number must be filed or submitted to COMP Cams via mail or register at www.cpgcontingency.com . No modified, cut, painted or stacked decals permitted.

Computech Systems, Inc. /RaceAir Weather Station
Must have product, Proof of purchase, signed advertising release and product must be purchased within 5 years of event.

Computech Systems, Inc. /EGT Plus Exhaust Gas Temp. Monitor
Must have product, Proof of purchase, signed advertising release and product must be purchased within 5 years of event.

Computech Systems, Inc. /DataMaxx Data Logger
Must have product, Proof of purchase, signed advertising release and product must be purchased within 5 years of event.

Computech Systems, Inc. /RaceAir Remote Trailer Weather Station
Must have product, Proof of purchase, signed advertising release and product must be purchased within 5 years of event.

Flatout Gaskets/Gaskets
Minimum purchase of $100.00 (per car) after Jan.1, 2008 . May require proof of purchase plus YELLOW Flatout Gaskets decal un-altered and visible on both sides of car for entire event.

Goodyear/Drive Tires
Minimum 15” decal visible on both sides of car, preferably above drive tires.

HANS Performance Products/Hans Device
Proof of purchase and un-altered decals visible on both sides of car for entire event.

Harland Sharp/Rocker Arms
Proof of purchase is required. Product must have been purchased within the last 5 years. For example product must have been purchased during or after the year 2004. Product and un-altered decals, visible on both sides of car.

Hogan’s Racing Manifolds Inc.
Proof of purchase and un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of car for entire event. Purchase must be validated with serial number and name of purchaser. Photo of car with decal also required – does not have to be professional picture and can be mailed or emailed to hogansracing@comcast.net

Hoosier/ Drive Tires
Product and un-altered decals, visible on both sides of car, preferably above drive tires.

Howell Printing/ Hero Cards, Pit Bike, 4-wheeler
Items must be purchased during current year (2009). Product and un-altered decal, visible on both sides of the car.

Hughes Performance/Pro Mod Power Glide XP4 Transmission/Torque Converter
Proof of purchase required for both products. Un-altered decals, visible on both sides of the car for entire event for both products.

Manley Performance Products
Steel Connecting Rods - proof of purchase must be dated within 3 years of purchase date.
Valve Springs - proof of purchase dated within 2 years of purchase date.
1. Manley product must be used in competing car.
2. Product SPECIFIC decals, visible on both sides of car for entire event.
3. Proof of purchase must be faxed, mailed or emailed to Manley by any winner/runner-up in order to claim contingency.

Mr. Gasket/Prestolite Wire
Accel Ignition Wires/Accel Digital Fuel Systems/ Mallory Ignition Control
As part of our posting, we require that the racer runs our products and displays our decals, unaltered and in a clearly visible location for entire event. This year we also require the racer to sign an advertising release.

Next Generation Power/ Diesel Generator
Product registration upon purchase required. Un-altered decals, visible on both sides of the car for entire event.

Pace American
Car must display Pace decals on both sides of car.
Must be a registered owner of a Pace Shadow, Pursuit, Rallye, Bigfoot, AeroSport or Silver Arrow auto hauler.
Copy of current state registration showing matching names of car & trailer owner must be submitted to Pace w/ info (#5) and photos (#4)

2009 Performance by Fisher non-altered or stacked Contingency Decals, clearly visible on both sides of entry. Decals will be mailed at the time of product registration/completed contingency form received. Purchase of all 4 wheels must be made after 1/1/08. Proof of purchase, completed contingency form (available online @ www.performancebyfisher.com ) must be on file & winners circle photo from event claimed with purchased wheels and decals visible will be required. Completed contingency form must be returned within 30 days of receiving product and on file prior to event claimed. Contingency is non-transferable and will only be paid to the original purchaser.

Performance Safety Products/ 2 piece SFI-5 Drivers Suit
2 piece SFI-5 suit will have a (1) One time payout for each winning racer. Contingency can be claimed (1) one time per season, per racer.
Product must be purchased through Performance Safety Products. Un-altered decals, visible on both sides of the car for entire event.

Prince Racing Transmissions
Proof of purchase required.

PTC/Transmission & Torque Converter
Proof of purchase and Serial #. No stacking of decals allowed and Unaltered Decals must be visible on both sides of car for entire event.

Quick Fuel Technology / Carburetor
Un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of vehicle for entire event. Proof of purchase required.

Ram Clutches/ Clutch
To be eligible for contingency, winner/ runner-up must display an unaltered decal on both sides of the car for the entire event and must complete the RAM contingency form. Must provide proof of a minimum purchase of $500 or more in the last 12 months. Form will be mailed to participant after verification is received from IHRA.

Simpson Fire suit
Racer must display Simpson decals on both sides of car, for entire event.

Sonny’s Racing Engines, Inc. /Complete Engines
Engine decals must be on front fender or hood scoop

Sonny’s Racing Engines, Inc. /Cylinder Heads
Cylinder head decals must be on front fender or hood scoop.

Stroud Safety/Helmets-Fire Suits
Proof of purchase is required for all products. Helmets and fire suits must be present at the time of contingency verification. A contingency card must be on file at Stroud for all products to be claimed.
Helmet- Must be a Snell 05 or newer
Fire Suits- Must be purchased within the last 5 years. (Ex. must be purchased after Jan.1, 2004)
Racer must have un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of vehicle for entire event.

TCI Automotive/ Transmission & Torque Converter
Un-altered decals, visible, on both sides of vehicle for entire event. No stacking of decals allowed!

Toyo Tires/Drive Tires
Un-altered decals, visible on both sides of vehicle for entire event.

Twist N Shout Custom Paint
Must be original purchaser of paint job. Racer must have painted logo of Twist and Shout or un-altered decals from Twist and Shout on car for the entire event.
