HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — The long-standing partnership of ATI Performance Products and the International Hot Rod Association has gotten even stronger for the 2024 season.

This goes along with the ongoing support of the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering, the IHRA Summit Team Finals and IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals.

Aurora Lyons, a 15-year-old from Fort Chiswell, Va., is starting her fifth year in the smaller scale cars. Her favorite place to race is her home track, Elk Creek Dragway, and she draws inspiration from her dad, an older cousin Robby and Alex Taylor from Hot Rod Garage.
EDINBURG, Texas — Racers will be treated to big improvements when they come to Edinburg Motorsports Park for the season kickoff with an IHRA Ironman Classic on March 1-2.
A crew from Total Venue Concept did a track profile grind and total track upgrade. They worked to make the drag strip level and smooth for the racers all the way down the quarter-mile prior to the huge racing season coming up at the South Texas facility.
PORT ALLEN, La. — Points races for the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Summit SuperSeries as well as the track’s SCR Bracket Series are starting this weekend at State Capitol Raceway.
Changes to the program for 2024 are lowering the Sportsman minimum time from 7.50 to 7.40 and not requiring IHRA members to use an X-number for track points. IHRA membership before July 1 is still required to qualify for the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals.

This will be the first time the East Tennessee track has hosted an IHRA Sportsman Spectacular. Racers in Super Pro (Box), No Box, Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster classes will compete for prestigious IHRA Ironman trophies and the very popular oversized championship checks. IHRA members will also be in the running for limited-edition Sportsman Spectacular commemorative medals.

The latest is Hannah Grace Snipes, a 13-year-old from Heath Springs, S.C., with three years of racing experience. She drives a 2021 Halfscale dragster and her racing heroes include Steve Fast and Courtney Enders.

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. — Crossville Dragway is ready to take full advantage of the International Hot Rod Association Summit SuperSeries program in 2024.
While the Tennessee drag strip is a longtime IHRA member track, this year it’s stepping up a commitment with a strong bracket racing program which includes Box, No Box, Sportsman and Junior Dragster in a series known as Crossville’s Mountain Madness. WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Keith Starr has a vision for Wichita Raceway Park and the International Hot Rod Association plays prominently into that role.
Starr, who has been involved with WRP the last six years, took over as owner of the 1/8-mile drag strip in North Texas in January. He has specific plans in the short term and some exciting ideas long range for a track just 13 miles from the Oklahoma state line.
