Track owner Russ Easterwood is carrying on the tradition started by his grandfather, Jack Walker who built the 1/8-mile drag strip at Baileyton, Alabama in 1966.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — Albuquerque Dragway is celebrating its 60th anniversary and also a return home to the International Hot Rod Association in 2023.

The 1/4-mile track located on an 80-acre property operated under IHRA sanction in the 1980s and early 90s. Decades later, the IHRA’s focus on grassroots, Sportsman racing fits in nicely with Albuquerque Dragway’s plans. It made it the perfect time to come back home.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — There’s another reason for the International Hot Rod Association racers to celebrate with today’s news that a flatbed trailer from B&C Trailer Services will be given as the grand prize to the IHRA Summit SuperSeries Sportsman World Champion.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — There’s a long history of Dart’s Carts supporting drag racing, often supplying vehicles for events at their local tracks. 

Now, the Jackson, Tennessee-based company has partnered with the International Hot Rod Association to give a Yamaha Drive 2 fuel-injected golf cart as a grand prize to the IHRA Summit SuperSeries Junior Dragster World Champion in 2023.
