IHRA Plans Coming Into Place for 2023

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — The International Hot Rod Association has its 2023 plans coming into place featuring the continuation of some of the IHRA’s most popular programs.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — Darlington Dragway will be the site of the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Division 9 (Raiders) Summit Team Finals from Sept. 29 through Oct. 2.

The iconic drag strip at Hartsville, S.C., which was built by Darlington Raceway founder Harold Brasington, has served as home to many IHRA national and regional events since it opened in 1976.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — It’s the first of two huge International Hot Rod Association weekends for Holly Springs Motorsports.

The Holly Springs, Miss., track will host the IHRA Division 2 (Heatwave) Summit Team Finals from Sept. 29 through Oct. 2. It comes two weeks before Holly Springs serves as host for the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals.

ASBURY, Missouri — JR Lobner got off to a blistering fast start with a .002 reaction time and raced to the Super Pro (Box) win at Saturday’s IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Hagerty and Moser Engineering at Mo-Kan Dragway.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — Kentucky Dragway returned to the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) in 2022. The Clay City, Kentucky track will remain a part of the IHRA family in 2023.

WEST SALEM, Ohio — Several racers and teams were recognized with special awards at the International Hot Rod Association Division 3 (North Stars) Summit Team Finals at Dragway 42.

WEST SALEM, Ohio — Josh Rietscha and 2020 International Hot Rod Association Sportsman World Champion Joe Tharp Jr. were winners in a special Race of Champions at the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Division 3 Summit Team Finals at Dragway 42.

WEST SALEM, Ohio — Quaker City Motorsports Park piled up points through the first six rounds to capture the International Hot Rod Association Division 3 (North Stars) Summit Team Finals championship at Dragway 42.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — Kuhnle Motorsports Park is coming back with the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) in 2023.
