The Division Four Summit Pro-Am Tour Makes Its Second Stop At State Capital Raceway This Weekend

State Capitol Raceway's Division 4 Early Parking and L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Trip and The SDPC Raceshop Racer Appreciation Shrimp Boil

L’Auberge Casino & Hotel welcomes all IHRA Drivers, Crew, and Race Teams to an evening of excitement.  Arrangements have been made with State Capitol Raceway for early parking on Thursday, April 14th, 2016 from noon - 6pm

L’Auberge will provide round trip transportation from State Capitol Raceway to the Baton Rouge casino on board the luxury L’Auberge bus. The roundtrip will depart from the State Capitol Raceway at 6pm for L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge and return at 11 pm. Everyone attending will also receive a complimentary buffet dinner at Bon Temps Buffet at L’Auberge. The trip and dinner will be provided by L’Auberge Casino & Hotel.  Please RSVP by emailing Mmay@ldlmail.com.

Scoggin-Dickey Raceshop and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center along with Chevrolet Performance Parts would like to invite all racers and their families to the SDPC Raceshop Racer Appreciation Shrimp Boil and get together on Friday Night April 15th at State Capitol Raceway in Baton Rouge. This will be at the SDPC trailer and time will be announced the day of. Bring your chairs and drinks of choice and join us for some good eats and a chance to hang out with fellow racers and their families. Friday gates open at noon, tech is open from 3-9 and a track hosted Tnt will be from 5-10pm.

Saturday gates open at 730, tech will open at 8 and there will be 2 qualifying sessions beginning at 10 am, eliminations immediately filling 2nd qualifying session.

Sunday gates open at 8, chapel service at 8:15, one qualifying pass at 9 and eliminations immediately following qualifier.


Run order for the weekend: HR, STK, QR, TS, SR, TD, SS, Beg, Adv, Mas.

 

IHRA division director Frank Kohutek has been in constant contact with State Capital Track Manager Gary Carter. Gary informed Frank that the majority of the rain has bypassed the facility and he invites all competitor to come out for a fun weekend of racing and entertainment.
