House of Payne Performance Contributing to Summit SuperSeries Dragster Build

Thursday, 29 September 2016

House of Payne Performance, headed by leading man and veteran racer Mark Payne, has been an IHRA staple for years. Consistently one of the winningest drivers on the Summit Pro Am Tour, Payne jumped at the opportunity to be a part of this year’s Summit SuperSeries dragster build by providing a starter and support for this year’s big winner.  One of the first to get on board with the 2016 build, Payne’s contribution is another key component that makes this year’s Summit SuperSeries dragster a true prize.

starter

This starter has a powerful 3 KW (4 HP) motor built for the hardest starting applications on Big or Small block Chevy.  This starter is designed for 12 volt systems, but also works exceptionally well on 16 volt. It also requires a 10 pitch or a 139 tooth flexplate.  The Ultimate Big Dawg is recommended for 600 + cubic inch engines.

Additional features include oversized bearings to support the armature and drive assembly as well as extra length brushes for years of hassle free service.  The Ultimate Big Dawg comes with a heavy duty diesel style solenoid, a large 12 tooth pinion for more rotational speed and features an offset design to clear most industry standard kickout oil pans.
