HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — Sunoco Race Fuels continues its support of the International Hot Rod Association through the 2023 season.

The largest manufacturer of racing gasolines in the world, Sunoco Race Fuels serves as the official fuel of IHRA, NASCAR and other major racing organizations. Since the mid-60s when Sunoco and the Roger Penske Racing Team with Mark Donohue forged a long and successful alliance, the company has grown into an industry powerhouse. 

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri  — Summit Racing Equipment and the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) announced today the longest series partnership in drag racing has been extended through the 2023 season.

The IHRA Summit SuperSeries is the most recognized and most prestigious program in bracket racing. The program, which includes the IHRA Summit Team Finals and IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals, has been in effect since 2002. It is the World Championship for thousands of IHRA member-track racers each season, held at IHRA-sanctioned member tracks across North America.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — The International Hot Rod Association Division 1 (Patriots) Summit Team Finals will be motoring ahead at Motor Mile Dragway. The Fairlawn, Virginia drag strip is set to host the Division 1 Team Finals on Sept. 21-23, 2023.

Brian Thompson has taken over as operator of the Caddo Mills, Texas track for the 2023 season. He sometimes still refers the track as Redline Raceway the name of the facility when he was growing up. Thompson has a passion for the IHRA-member track which first opened in 1999 and introduced himself to those who don’t know him on the track’s Facebook page.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — Local racers haven’t been able to contain their excitement as word has gotten out about that new US 41 Dragstrip has been chosen as a site for an IHRA Division 5 (Thunder) Summit Team Finals event on Sept. 7-9.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — The International Hot Rod Association welcomes historic Newport Raceway as its newest member track.

The Arkansas track, formerly known as Speedy’s Drag Strip, started as a 1/4-mile track in the 1950s, but runs as an 1/8-mile today. The facility had some tough times shutting down in 2019, but it’s coming back strong under the leadership of Scott and Belinda Cooper. They’ve worked closely with the city of Newport to drum up local support.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — The International Hot Rod Association Division 3 (North Stars) Summit Team Finals will be returning to Dragway 42 on Sept. 7-9.

It will be the third straight year the IHRA Division 3 Summit Team Finals will be held at the West Salem, Ohio venue. The historic facility has been around since 1957 and went a major overhaul in 2017.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — The convenient location of Brainerd Motorsports Park is what brings racers in, but the hospitality at the IHRA-member track is what keeps them coming back

With its easy access off Interstate 75 in Georgia and its close proximity to numerous larger cities, Brainerd Motorsports Park is a prime location for a drag strip. The key is once a racer visits, track owners Steven and Amy Farrow do their best to make them feel at home.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — There are scenic race tracks across North America, but few can match the natural beauty surrounding Ozark Raceway Park.

Al Schoenwetter has long been associated with track located southeast of Springfield, Missouri in Rogersville. Schoenwetter said people can’t fully appreciate Ozark Raceway Park until they see it with their own eyes.
