SUMMIT TEAM FINALS

The purpose of the IHRA Summit Team Finals is to promote IHRA Drag Racing at member tracks on a local level and reward attendance with national recognition and competition. Each participating track will keep a points system to determine the drivers who will represent their track. Each racer must be entered in their home tracks points program. The top five (5) point’s finishers in 2007 IHRA or NHRA World Championship standings are not eligible. Each Team Championship will be determined by a points system with one (1) point being awarded to the winner of each round. Games and contests also contribute to Team Points.

Competitors also claim individual class championships, prizes and monies by racing against their peers in their perspective classes. Racers will eliminate down until a Summit Team Finals Champion is determined. Winners receive an IHRA Ironman, Silver Card and monetary prizes.
