SALEM, Ohio — Quaker City Motorsports Park is set to host the “Big Buck Nationals” on August 8-10. There is a $5,000-to-win, 64-car Shootout scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8. There are 32 No Box cars and 32 Box cars, which will run separately until the final round.

The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) is adding even more excitement to one of the biggest events of the season with the announcement of a 64-Car Top Bulb Bracket Shootout during the upcoming IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals at Darana Dragway, August 8–9.

The races were live streamed on IHRA.TV with the exciting action of both the Nitro and Sportsman classes.

With the elimination rounds in the IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series postponed from Saturday due to rainy weather, Joon and Worsham won the Top Fuel and Funny Car races. The prestigious Ironman trophies and $50,000 winner’s purses respectively came with that, and the races were live streamed on IHRA.TV.

MILAN, Mich. — The IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series eliminations at Darana Dragway - Milan were postponed Saturday due to weather. They will resume Sunday morning with Hot Rod at 9:30 a.m. with live streaming on IHRA.TV.

MILAN, Mich. — Scott Palmer and Del Worsham paced Top Fuel and Funny Car qualifying at the IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series race at Darana Dragway.

Palmer posted both the quickest time (3.888 seconds) and fastest speed (293.73 mph) in Top Fuel time trials which was broadcast live on IHRA.TV. It comes on the heels of Palmer winning the IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series race in Hebron, Ohio.

Mitch King was second at 4.038 seconds and 283.02 mph. Chuck Loftin, Lex Joon and Kyle Satenstein rounded out the top five.

The IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals is moving — but the action isn’t going anywhere.

Originally set for Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio, the event will now take place at Darana Dragway - Milan (formerly Milan Dragway) in Milan, Michigan, on the same dates: August 8-9. 

The change in venue brings the event to a facility that’s recently been revitalized under IHRA ownership, with the same commitment to putting on a top-tier show for fans and racers alike.

MILAN, Mich. — While the action heats up at Darana Dragway - Milan during this weekend’s IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series event, the International Hot Rod Association is proud to announce the addition of five new contingency partners, effective immediately and continuing throughout the 2025 season.

MILAN, Mich. — Jacob Elrod was racing in a different class, but was still class of the field at the IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series Pro-Am at Darana Dragway.

Elrod won the Top Sportsman race Thursday at the Michigan drag strip with the event streamed live on IHRA.TV. Jacob, the son of IHRA Hall of Famer Dave Elrod, won the Super Rod class at the Pro-Am opener two weeks ago in Hebron, Ohio.
