Great Lakes Gets Through Round 6; Ironman Classic Coming in June UNION GROVE, Wisc. — It’s midway through May and Great Lakes Dragaway has already gotten through six IHRA Summit SuperSeries points races. McQueen Doubles Up at Penwell Knights Raceway ODESSA, Texas — Mikel McQueen doubled up with both Box and No Box victories at IHRA Summit SuperSeries points races at Penwell Knights Raceway last weekend. McQueen had solid starts in both classes. His .014 reaction time gave him an early advantage over Mason Bomar in the Box final. His winning run of 5.046 seconds at 129.68 mph against a 5.03 dial-in. He then used a .015 start in No Box as final-round opponent Stan Hammond triggered the red light.

IHRA Completes Purchase of Kil-Kare Raceway XENIA, Ohio — The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) is pleased to announce the purchase of Kil-Kare Raceway has become final. It is a multi-purpose facility with rich history for both the drag strip and oval track.
