FAIRFIELD, OH — The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) is proud to announce the release of the first issue of Drag Review Magazine under its revitalized “New Era.”

The magazine, a long-standing voice of IHRA drag racing, returns to print and digital platforms with a renewed vision - capturing the energy, history and personalities fueling the sport’s resurgence.

The cover story spotlights Randy Weatherford, who raced to a monumental $125,000 victory at the IHRA Outlaw Pro Mod Nationals at Darana Raceway - Milan in Michigan, a defining moment that showcased the IHRA’s return to championship-caliber competition.

Inside, readers will find exclusive features and racer profiles that celebrate both the grassroots and professional sides of the IHRA community.

Among the Pro-Am features, the magazine highlights the Elrod Family, Ricky Adkins, and Kara Jo Brank, offering a closer look at the racers whose dedication defines IHRA competition week after week. On the professional side, fans can dive into feature stories on Del Worsham, Scotty Cannon, and John Montecalvo - three racers whose impact within the organization continues to shape the IHRA’s evolving legacy.

Adding even greater depth, the issue includes a sit-down interview with IHRA Owner Darryl Cuttell, offering readers insight into the vision guiding the association’s “Return to Glory.”

“I’m beyond excited for the re-launch of Drag Review Magazine,” said Craig Cook, Editor-in-Chief. “From in-depth features to event recaps, our editorial team has worked tirelessly to produce this first issue, highlighting everything IHRA has to offer. I can’t wait for our drivers and fans to see it.”

The printed edition of Drag Review Magazine is now being mailed to the IHRA racer database. A digital version will be available online soon for all fans and members to read and share.
