Image × HOLLY SPRINGS, MS — Holly Springs Motorsports is set to host another big International Hot Rod Association event with the IHRA Division 2 (Heat Wave) Team Finals this weekend, Sept. 10-13. The North Mississippi track has been the site of the IHRA SuperSeries World Finals for the last three years. The venue, conveniently located off Interstate 22, features an eighth-mile drag strip, eight staging lanes, concrete walls, guardrails, and an uphill shutdown area. IHRA Division 2 tracks are: Beacon Dragway, Bone Terre Drag Strip, Centerville Dragway, Holly Springs Motorsports, I57 Dragstrip, Music City Raceway, Newport Raceway, Ozark Raceway and Skelton Raceway. Each region hosts a Team Finals for every division. Races will compete in five classes — Top (Box), Mod (No Box), Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster. Through the IHRA Team Finals, a racer can win a 2025 Team Finals main event championship in his or her division and become eligible for the IHRA SuperSeries World Finals at Alabama International Dragway, October 16-18. Every participant must be an IHRA member to compete at this event. Division 2 individual champions in 2024 were: Lonnie Rice (Top), John Burleson (Mod), Chris Foster (Sportsman), Billy Warren Jr. (Motorcycle) and Gavin Jones (Jr. Dragster).
