Image × SALEM, Ohio — Can anyone take down the home track when the IHRA Division 3 (North Stars) Team Finals take place at Quaker City Motorsports Park this weekend? The Northeast Ohio track has won the last three IHRA Division 3 (North Stars) Team Finals, although the margin was close a year ago with Dragway 42 runner-up. It’s a terrific facility to host the IHRA Team Finals with plenty of paved areas in the pits and a huge staging area with 14 lanes and room for 350 cars. Other IHRA Division 3 tracks are: Dragway 42, Kuhnle Motorsports Park, Darana Dragway - Milan (former Milan Dragway) and Darana Raceway - Hebron (former National Trail Raceway). Each region hosts a Team Finals for every division. Races will compete in five classes — Top (Box), Mod (No Box), Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster. Through the IHRA Team Finals, a racer can win a 2025 Team Finals main event championship in his or her division and become eligible for the IHRA SuperSeries World Finals at Alabama International Dragway, October 16-18. Every participant must be an IHRA member to compete at this event. As stated, Quaker City will be going for its fourth straight team title. Division 3 individual champions from 2024 were: Brittany Dumonte (Top), Mark Miller (Mod), former IHRA World Champion Joe Tharp Jr. (Sportsman), Austin Stidham (Motorcycle) and Kaiden Travis (Junior Dragster).
