IHRA Powerboat Racing Announces $250,000 Key West Purse and $1 Million Offshore Purse for 2026 Season

FAIRFIELD, OH – October 10, 2025 — The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) is turning up the throttle as its expansion into powerboat racing surges ahead. Building on the momentum of its 2025 debut, IHRA is proud to announce a $250,000 purse at the Key West Championship.

Racers will enjoy exclusive IHRA hospitality on the Outer Mole, creating a first-class experience that celebrates competition, camaraderie, and community — hallmarks of the IHRA brand.

The IHRA also confirmed a minimum $1,000,000 purse for the 2026 IHRA Offshore National Championship, in addition to dedicated tow fund support to assist teams traveling to events. Race site details and schedules will be announced soon, with competitions planned at premier destinations across North America.
