Image × STEELE, Ala. — The 2025 International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) SuperSeries World Finals is set for October 15–18 at Alabama International Dragway. Recognized as the most prestigious championship in bracket racing, the IHRA SuperSeries World Finals brings together the best of the best — champions from across North America — to battle for record purses and the right to be called an IHRA World Champion. Competitors earned their place through a variety of paths: by finishing atop the IHRA SuperSeries points standings at their home track, winning their class at an IHRA Sportsman Spectacular, or earning a berth through IHRA Team Finals competition. The event also welcomes back former IHRA SuperSeries World Champions, adding to the prestige and tradition of this celebrated weekend. Friday features the Race of Champions and the Racer Appreciation Party, complete with free food and live music, before the spotlight shifts to Saturday’s main event. Racers will compete for IHRA SuperSeries World Championships in five classes — Top (Box), Mod (No Box), Sportsman, Motorcycle, and Junior Dragster — with more than $140,000 in total payouts up for grabs. Each of the 2025 IHRA SuperSeries World Champions will receive the sport’s top honors: an IHRA Ironman Trophy, a giant novelty check, a champion’s ring and jacket, and a gold card. Last season’s champions — Scott Wallace (Top), Justin Minton (Mod), Jordan Johnson (Sportsman), Grady Powell (Motorcycle), and Tate Hildebrandt (Junior Dragster) — all left Holly Springs Motorsports Park with those prestigious prizes in hand and their names etched in IHRA history. Alabama International Dragway’s connection to the IHRA runs deep, dating back to its early days hosting the IHRA Super Nationals from 1993–95, where Hall of Fame drivers Scotty Cannon and Anthony Bertozzi claimed memorable victories. The Steele, Ala., facility features both eighth-mile and quarter-mile track configurations, earning its well-deserved tagline: “Where Records Fall.” With champions returning, newcomers chasing glory, and the energy building for an unforgettable weekend, IHRA looks forward to welcoming racers who have earned the right to compete for the 2025 IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Championships.
