Image × HEBRON, Ohio — Tom Martino and Lester Johnson set fast times in their respective classes at the IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series Pro-Am qualifying at Darana Raceway before rain on Thursday postponed the rest of the action until Sunday. Tom Martino Martino rocketed down the 1/8-mile in 3.897 seconds at 187.42 mph to lead the Top Dragster class after three rounds. Wayne Landry posted the second-quickest time at 3.927 seconds and 184.73 mph. Jamie McBride was third at 4.005 seconds and 181.16 mph with action live-streamed on IHRA.tv and SPEED SPORT 2. Johnson also broke the 4-second barrier in Top Sportsman with a 3.968 elapsed time at 185.41 mph. Jimmy Fallon was second at 4.106 seconds and 177.87 mph. Dwayne Rice, who won the first Pro-Am race of the season at Darana Raceway - Hebron, was third at 4.137 seconds and 173.28 mph. Super Stock and Stock qualifying also took place. Earl Roe went down the track in 10.151 seconds at 131.35 mph to sit at the top of the Super Stock chart. Randy Eakins had his name atop the Stock list with a 10.116-second run at 128.72 mph A final qualifying session will begin Sunday at 9 a.m., followed by racing through to completion.
