Image × STEELE, Ala. — Racers will be competing for the most prestigious championships in bracket racing at the 2025 International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) SuperSeries World Finals this weekend, October 15-18, at Alabama International Dragway. The best bracket racers across North America will battle for big checks, large purses, special IHRA World Champion Ironman trophies, IHRA Gold Cards and championship rings and jackets. Racers have qualified for the IHRA World Finals through the IHRA SuperSeries points at their home track, through the IHRA Team Finals, or by winning their class at an IHRA Sportsman Spectacular. The event also welcomes back 2024 IHRA SuperSeries World Champions. Friday’s schedule includes the Race of Champions and the Racer Appreciation Party featuring free food and live music. Saturday is the main event with racers competing for IHRA SuperSeries World Championships in five classes — Top (Box), Mod (No Box), Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster. Top (Box) and Mod (No Box) are competing for $25,000 champions’ purses and $8,000 runner-up purses. The Sportsman class features $20,000 for the champion and $5,000 for the runner-up. The Motorcycle and Junior Dragster racers will contend for $10,000 champion purses and $4,000 for the runner-ups. Alabama International Dragway is conveniently located between Gadsden and Birmingham, just off Interstate 59 at Exit 174.
