Six Celebrate Gamblers Wins at IHRA Division 2 Team Finals

HOLLY SPRINGS, MS — Six racers were winners of Gamblers races at the IHRA Division 2 (Heat Wave) Team Finals at Holly Springs Motorsports.

The IHRA Team Finals are the most popular races of the year, where the on-track action is only part of the fun. IHRA members have long commented about the fellowship and how racing for the home track makes each of the IHRA Team Finals an incredible experience.

There was plenty of on-track fun for the Gamblers race winners.

Gavin Harris parked his blue Chevy S-10 pickup in the winner’s circle for the Top (Box) class after beating former IHRA Sportsman Spectacular winner Wayne Trammell in the final round.

Jake Overstreet drove his red Ford Mustang to the Mod (No Box) win. He had to beat one of the best in the business, the always tough Charlie Lockhart, in the final round. Brad David was also behind the wheel of a Mustang, a black one, to win Sportsman.

Steve Girley got the win on two wheels in the Motorcycle class. Among the younger contingent, Andrew Pinski beat Alivia Ballentine in the Junior Dragster final, and Brantley Forrester drove a Chevy pickup to the Teen Street victory.
