HOLLY SPRINGS, MS — Ten racers from multiple tracks were winners at the IHRA Division 2 (Heat Wave) Race of Champions and Friday’s Gamblers at Holly Springs Motorsports.

The Race of Champions saw Holly Springs’ own Buddy Ferrell pilot his black dragster to the Top (Box) victory. Brad Davis, also representing the home track, was the Sportsman winner in his black Mustang.

I57 Dragstrip had two take-home victories. Multi-time big race winner Luke Bogacki found his way to the winners’ circle through the Mod (No Box) bracket. Connor Meadows, also from the Illinois track, was the winner in Junior Dragster.

Drew McClain added to the great reputation of Music City Raceway as being among the best venues in the country when it comes to the Motorcycle class.

There were also five winners in Friday’s Gamblers race. Randy Seale drove his white dragster to the Top (Box) victory over runner-up Rusty Ashmore.

Two of the best collided in the Mod (No Box) final as Taylor PoFahl raced his blue Chevy S-10 to the win over multi-track champion Charlie Lockhart. Another Chevy S-10 was in the winners’ circle in Sportsman, where Austin Thurston bested Gary Doom.

Lee Tanner kept McClain from doubling up by besting him in the Motorcycle final. Grayson Fulcher completed the list of Gamblers winners with his victory over Lane Evilsizer in the Junior Dragster final.

The IHRA Division 3 (North Stars) Team Finals are currently going on at Quaker City Motorsports Park. Keep checking IHRA.com and our social media pages for a complete recap.
