HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — In a state known as the setting for “Field of Dreams,” many drag racers live out their fantasies at Humboldt County Dragway.

The Iowa facility has become the newest addition to the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) roster of member tracks with the announcement of a new sanctioning agreement.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — The racers at Motor Mile Dragway have spoken and the officials at the track have listened. The Virginia facility will continue under International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) sanction in 2023.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — If you can win at Knoxville, you can win anywhere.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — Crossville Dragway certainly stands out from the crowd.

The 1/8-mile drag strip is easily identifiable with its green paint as one is driving on Interstate 40 from Nashville towards Knoxville, Tennessee. The track, which has renewed its sanctioning agreement with the International Hot Rod Association, has undergone plenty of improvements in recent years.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — Atmore DragStrip owner Joey Barber understood the concerns.

Barber, who took over ownership of the Alabama track in June, had a long background in drag racing. However, it was more in the street, no prep and grudge aspects of the sport. The bracket racers at the facility didn’t know how he would take care of them.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — There’s a new excitement at Beacon Dragway with today’s announcement the track is renewing its sanctioning agreement with the International Hot Rod Association.
