The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) is deeply saddened to hear about the passing of legendary motorcycle racer Larry “Drums” Brancaccio.

“Drums” participated in various national IHRA events throughout the years and collected eight national championships and 14 overall titles from various series throughout his racing career.

“We do crazy work and we like to live on the edge. Everything is a rush and there’s nothing like that. It’s like being shot out of a cannon,” Brancaccio once said about the sport he loved.

The racing community will remember him for his vibrant, energetic, and colorful personality. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
