This year’s San Antonio Nitro Jam features multiple professional and sportsman classes spread over the two-day event. The 2013 San Antonio Nitro Jam will feature professional competition in Top Fuel Dragster, AMSOIL Prostalgia™ Nitro Funny Car, Fuel Altered, Nitro Harley and multiple sportsman competing on the Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL. The event will also feature multiple exhibitions the Battle of the Jet Trains between “Cannonball Express” and the “Chattanooga Choo-Choo”, jet funny cars “First Strike” and “Top Secret”, the 30,000 horsepower “Super Shockwave” jet truck, wheelstanders, fireworks and much more.
This is the second race of the 2013 IHRA Nitro Jam season with championship points on the line in all professional classes. Last year’s event was the largest event in Nitro Jam history at Southwestern International Raceway, so spectators are advised to arrive early. Adult tickets are only $25 if purchased in advance and $30 at the gate. Children tickets are $10.
Nitro Jam professional racing will take place at 7:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday. Sportsman racing will be contested throughout the day.
WHAT : The San Antonio Nitro Jam presented by CarSafe and Good Vibrations Motorsports is the second race of the 2013 IHRA Nitro Jam season.
