Avondet Scores Biggest Career Win at IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals

Drivers across numerous racing disciplines call races such as the Daytona 500, Indianapolis 500 and Monaco Grand Prix the biggest win of their careers. The same can be said for Dustin Avondet from Pierce City, Mo., who captured the Mod (No Box) IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Championship at Memphis International Raceway, Millington, Tenn.

Richmond Dragway Hosts Special Race to Support Local Veterans

SANDSTON, Va. — Richmond Dragway recently created its own version of a team finals to raise money for local veterans.

The American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning Team Challenge was held October 5 at the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) member track . David Tatum (Top ET), Sean Sparkman (Modified ET), Amanda Lee (Junior Dragster), Derek Burkhead Sr. (Motorcycle) and Joel Kelly (Street & Strip) made up the winning team as a portion of proceeds were designed to benefit the Virginia Veterans Service Foundation.
