Since 1985, they’ve been experts in the conveyor, food and beverage industries. In 1996, Darana Electric began operations in Niagara Falls with seven employees in a 5,000-square foot warehouse. The company, which had grown to 20 employees, relocated to Memphis in 2005.
They merged with Darana Hybrid in 2007 and by 2012, the Memphis facility had grown to 60,000 square feet. The company moved to Hamilton in 2016 and soon it encompassed a 170,000 square-foot warehouse with over 200 employees.
Darryl H. Cuttell, President/CEO and a master electrician, is a member of the Tuscarora Native American Nation. Darana Hybrid is guided by the Native American Code of Ethics from an 800-year-old legacy and tradition that says all people who work together, will make the world stronger by generously sharing our collective knowledge with others.
The company has industrial electricians licensed in all 50 states and Canada. Leadership holds over 300 state electrical, mechanical and contractor licenses with professional engineering teams working all over North America.
It’s only part of what they do. They’re leaders in renewable solar energy farms and lighting. Other areas of expertise include heavy rigging and relocation solutions, as well as custom machining and fabrication.
To say the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) is happy to team with them is quite an understatement.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Darana Hybrid join the IHRA as a major marketing partner,” IHRA Owner and CEO Larry Jeffers said. “They are one of the most respected companies in the world with the household names we all know putting their trust in Darana Hybrid. They are a welcome addition to the IHRA, and it’s exciting how this partnership is going to bring more value to our racers.”
Besides the headquarters in Ohio, the company has multiple locations in Tennessee, and offer electro-mechanical solutions in all 50 states as well as Canada and Mexico.
