Allstar Performance is well known for its involvement in circle track and dirt track racing, teaming up with the legendary Scott Bloomquist, considered by many the greatest late model driver of all time with over 600 feature wins.
There is also a rich history in drag racing, supporting longtime Top Fuel racer Terry McMillen, now the owner of Bunker Hill Dragstrip, and the late Bill Reichert, a five-time NHRA Top Alcohol World Champion.
The new partnership with IHRA allows Allstar Performance to increase brand awareness even more in the drag racing world. Allstar Performance and IHRA share a focus of catering to the grassroots, Sportsman racer.
“The grassroots, Sportsman racers are our bread-and-butter,” Allstar Performance Director of Marketing Scott Wahlstrom said. “We try to support them whenever we can and felt this was a great opportunity to present Allstar to more customers on a regional level. We try to get to all the tracks we can, but here is an opportunity to get our information in the hands of racers at all the IHRA Division 5 tracks.”
Wahlstrom pointed out that Allstar has parts ranging from gussets and bracketry to custom-made, 9-inch rear ends and much more. For hot rodding to road racing, open-wheel racing to off roading, there is a huge selection of items available. The IHRA is honored to bring the focus on drag racing at the Summit Team Finals.
“We are so pleased to have a great partner in Allstar Performance, a brand well respected throughout the motorsports world,” IHRA President Mel Roth said. “We love how they share our vision and support the grassroots, Sportsman racers who are the backbone of our sport. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with them.”
