"Due to another weekend with an unfavorable forecast Thursday and Friday and now the rain is pushing into Saturday every time the local forecast is updated, we made the decision to cancel the event" said Division Director Josh Peake.  "We wanted to make a decision as early in the week as possible so that the participants could make other plans for the weekend.  We made every attempt possible to get the event in and I really appreciate the staff at Piedmont Dragway and the participating track operators in this division for all their time and energy trying to make this event work".

The 2015 event will not be rescheduled and we look forward to seeing everyone at the 2016 Summit Team Finals event at Maryland International Raceway on September 29-October 2.
