All 2022 tracks that were slated to run the Team Finals are welcome to run the spring event. It will give Division 9 racers two chances to qualify for the 2023 IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals through the Team Finals, as another event will be held in the fall. 

The race had to be postponed with the forecast of historically bad weather from Hurricane Ian for this weekend. While there were multiple efforts to move the event to the following weekend before the 2022 IHRA World Finals, there wasn’t a venue available that could accommodate such a large car count.
