The West Salem, Ohio track is recognized as one of the finest drag racing facilities in the country, and this will mark the third straight year Dragway 42 has hosted the IHRA Division 3 Summit Team Finals.

Each region hosts a Summit Team Finals for every division. Any Summit SuperSeries competitor that has an IHRA membership and “X” number registered and valid according to IHRA records from at least July 1, 2023 and through the IHRA Summit Team Finals can win the 2023 Summit Team Finals main event championship in their division will become eligible for the Summit SuperSeries World Finals at Holly Springs Motorsports Park, October 5-7, 2023.

You can still attend the IHRA Summit Team Finals and be part of a member-track’s team even if you became a member after July 1. 

You can still compete for an individual division title in your class and help your track compete for the team championship. However if you were not an IHRA member by July 1, you will not be eligible to qualify for the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals through the IHRA Summit Team Finals.

Division 3 (North Stars) tracks are: Quaker City Motorsports Park, Dragway 42, Kuhnle Motorsports Park, Kentucky Dragway, Muncie Dragway, KD Motorsports Park and Pacemakers Outlaw Motorsports Park.

Quaker City Motorsports is the defending IHRA Division 3 Summit Team Finals champion. Ricky Roe captured the Top (Box) victory, while Jeff Kerl edged 2020 IHRA Summit SuperSeries Sportsman World Champion Joe Tharp Jr. for the Mod (No Box) title. 

Earl Hall took the Sportsman victory and Logan Vitez doubled up in Junior Dragster by winning both the Race of Champions win and the main event.
