Motor Mile Dragway was previously scheduled to host, but there is ongoing maintenance work at Pulaski County Motorsports Park. Motor Mile will still have a team competing at the Summit Team Finals as Elk Creek Dragway offers its racers another great venue just an hour away.

Elk Creek Dragway, which features the motto, “the track designed with your family in mind,” is excited to be given the opportunity to showcase the Southwest Virginia facility to racers who haven’t been there before.

The 1/8-mile IHRA track is conveniently located off U.S. Highway 21 and features plenty of great amenities for the racers with large restrooms, showers, concessions and room for camping in a scenic setting.  There is a lot of blacktop and an up-to-date CompuLink timing system.

Each region hosts a Summit Team Finals for every division. Any Summit SuperSeries competitor that has an IHRA membership and “X” number registered and valid according to IHRA records from at least July 1, 2023 and through the IHRA Summit Team Finals can win the 2023 Summit Team Finals main event championship in their division will become eligible for the Summit SuperSeries World Finals at Holly Springs Motorsports Park, October 5-7, 2023.

You can still attend the IHRA Summit Team Finals and be part of a member-track’s team even if you became a member after July 1. 

You can still compete for an individual division title in your class and help your track compete for the team championship. However if you were not an IHRA member by July 1, you will not be eligible to qualify for the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals through the IHRA Summit Team Finals.

Other Division 1 (Patriots) tracks include: Roxboro Motorsports Park and Custom T’s Motorsports Park.
