Alabama International Dragway features a super convenient location right off Interstate 59. It features asphalt pit areas, concessions and restrooms. There are dozen teams representing seven different tracks in the newly formed division scheduled to participate in the event.
The multi-day event kicks off Thursday with a test-and-tune, Gamblers race and a special treat. Thanks to ProMaxx Performance, Alabama International Dragway, Brainerd Motorsports Park and the IHRA, there will be a Racer Appreciation Skate and Pizza Party at Merry Go Round Skate Center in nearby Gadsen, Alabama.
Competitors return to the track for more Gamblers races on Friday and Saturday before Sunday’s Run for the Money and the main event. It’s truly a jam-packed weekend of action.
IHRA Division 8 (South) tracks are: Brainerd Motorsports Park, Crossville Dragway, Knoxville Dragway, Alabama International Dragway, Baileyton DragStrip, Holiday Raceway, I-22 Motorsports Park and English Mountain Raceway.

South Carolina Motorplex is a major drag racing facility with an excellent location near Interstate 26 and also close to Interstate 95. It makes for easy access for the racers and others to get to the 150-acre property which includes the South Carolina Mudplex.
There are a Gamblers time trial and race on Thursday with another Gamblers race and time trial scheduled for Friday. There’s a Run for the Money scheduled Saturday with the main event to follow. The track is available Sunday if needed.
IHRA Division 9 (Raiders) tracks are: Piedmont Dragway, Wilkesboro Dragway, Pageland Dragway, South Carolina Motorplex and Shadyside Dragway.
