IHRA Division 2 Summit Team Finals Rescheduled for Next Weekend

Friday, 13 September 2024

HOLLY SPRINGS, MS — The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Division 2 (Heat Wave) Summit Team Finals have been rescheduled for Sept. 19-21 at Holly Springs Motorsports.

Weather from Hurricane Francine caused the tough decision to postpone the race. IHRA Division 2 Director Cody Pollage worked diligently with operators from all the D2 member tracks to come up with the make-up date. Pollage communicated for hours with the different track operators. We appreciate Cody and all of them for working hard to make sure the racers get to experience the IHRA Summit Team Finals.

Special thanks to Holly Springs track operator Jody Brooks, along with others who canceled races previously on the docket to make this possible. With the rescheduled event, tracks can make legal roster changes to their teams.

There will be a Golf Cart / Pit Bike race at the end, time permitting.
