Roxboro Motorsports Park Makes Major Investment with Timing System Before 3-Day Weekend

TIMBERLAKE, N.C. — Roxboro Motorsports Park has made a major investment in the track’s future with a complete timing system checkup.

They’ve added a shiny new tree and stage-lock just in time for a big 3-day racing weekend. The entire staff at Roxboro wants to thank Russell (Crawford) and the other folks at Accutime Timing Systems for their quick and timely surface.

This weekend’s races includes a Gamblers’ race with an 80 percent payout tonight. Gates open at 5 p.m. with the track going hot 6 p.m.

Both Saturday and Sunday event feature $3,000-to-win IHRA Summit SuperSeries points races for the Top Eliminator and Footbrake (Mod) classes. The Junior Dragsters will compete for 100 percent payout. The Motorcycle class has races Saturday and Sunday with 80 percent payout.

Gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. The track goes hot at 10 a.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday. It’s a $70 entry fee for the Top and Footbrake classes for each day on Saturday and Sunday, a 3-day pass is available for $150 and 3-day spectator tickets are $50.
