IHRA welcomes new look in 2013

Monday, 25 February 2013

In case you haven’t noticed, the IHRA is getting a fresh new look in 2013.

From new logos to a revamped Drag Review Magazine to a brand new merchandise line, the International Hot Rod Association is overhauling its look with the plans to take the organization to new heights in 2013 and beyond with new owner Jason Rittenberry and the partnership of parent tracks Palm Beach International Raceway and Memphis International Raceway.

“We are excited to roll out the ‘new look’ of IHRA Motorsports,” said Jason Rittenberry, Chief Executive Officer.  “We wanted a modern clean look that represented the sport of drag racing.  I think we accomplished that with the series logo and the companion logos for our Member Tracks and Sponsors.  You will see more of the same modern clean design as we continue to unveil the various other logos throughout the season ”

The first thing you will notice about the new IHRA is a brand new series logo and a companion logo replicating the look of the Company’s other properties’ design. New logos will also be unveiled soon for the various other series including Nitro Jam and Thunder Jam in addition to brand new division logos and more.

To further incorporate the new look all IHRA equipment, trucks, trailers and even the Nitro Jam semi will feature new wraps this season provided by PCD Wraps and Graphics, the Official Wraps and Graphics Sponsor of the IHRA.

To help make the new look a more attractive option for IHRA fans, To-A-Tee will be taking over as the new merchandise provider for the company. To-A-Tee, the Official and Exclusive Merchandise Company of the IHRA, will be designing a brand new merchandise line incorporating the new logos and feel of the IHRA and will be traveling with the series during its Nitro Jam tour. To-A-Tee will also be opening a brand new online store available on the IHRA and Nitro Jam websites in the coming months.

Drag Review Magazine has also welcomed a new look in 2013 with new features and a brand new design giving it more of a newsstand look and an entertainment feel. DRM also debuted new sections this year spotlighting IHRA sportsman racers including the Say Whaaat? And Who’s Hot, Who’s Not sections.

Even the event schedule is expanding this year with the IHRA welcoming Palm Beach International Raceway back to the Nitro Jam lineup April 27.

While 2013 has already seen plenty of change to the organization celebrating its 42nd season of racing, plans are already in the works for an even more exciting 2014 and beyond.

Don’t miss out on what is already a historic season and be sure to check out the new look at an event near you.
