HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — The International Hot Rod Association is highlighting the drag racing stars of the future with series of Junior Dragster profiles.
Forest Long, a 13-year-old hometown racer at Albuquerque Dragway, is the latest subject. Long, who has a 2003 Mike Bos dragster, has been racing as long as he can remember.
Forest counts Ken Singleton, Ray Stringer and Paul Vinyard among his racing heroes. The best part of the sport for him is going fast and winning races. Staying active, he enjoys physical education in school, and one dad has dreams of taking over his dad’s landscaping company.
