Sarauer has been racing for four years and drives a 2006 Motivational Tubing car which his dad serves as crew chief and chief mechanic. Coming from a long family of racers, he has multiple heroes in the sport starting with his mom and dad, and twin brothers Sam and Pat. Others include his pa Mike Playmale and pa Randy Norris. They will have five cars races on a good day, although his dad still stays busy helping everyone out.

Ben also looks up to back-to-back Mod ET champion Kyle Collins. He enjoys gym class at school as he jokes no books are required. After Juniors, Ben looks to start racing the Street class in Pa Randy’s 1979 Chevy Malibu.
