Beginning with Division 1, racers will kick off the Patriots Division season at one of the favorite stops of competitors with Richmond Dragway the weekend of April 25-27. “The support and hospitality the Davis family puts into this season opener is unparalleled in the Tour,” O’Neal said. Richmond is followed by a return trip to Maryland International Raceway the weekend of June 13-15 and the season wrapup at Pittsburgh Raceway Park the weekend of July 11-13.
The Summit Pro-Am Tour race at MIR will be run in conjunction with the Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series event being held that same weekend. The remaining Division 1 races will be standalone events.
Division 3 will include four stops and eight races in 2014 with returns stops to London Dragway the weekend of May 30-June 1, opening the season at what has proven to be a new gentle giant in the schedule. Grand Bend Motorplex hosts its race the weekend of June 20-22 and U.S. 131 Motorsports Park the weekend of August 15-17. New to the schedule will be a stop at Pittsburgh Raceway Park the weekend of July 11-13 for a dual divisional event with points and division claims available for racers in both Divisions 1 and 3.
The Summit Pro-Am Tour race at the Grand Bend Motorplex will be run in conjunction with the Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series, while the remaining Division 3 races will be standalone events.
