With a terrible forecast greeting racers of the Raiders Division during their season opener, the event will be moved to another weekend to avoid the weather moving into the area.

“You always hate to postpone an event, especially one in which so many people are looking forward to, but it is better to be safe than sorry," said Josh Peake, IHRA Division 9 Director. "The forecast for this weekend is simply awful and we want to be proactive in saving our racers time and money. I do want to thank Mooresville Dragway and their staff for having the track ready for a great weekend, we will be back here when the time is right and put on a great race."
