After a sporadic start to the season, the road to the IHRA Summit Racing Equipment World Finals officially kicks off this weekend with events taking place during 17 of the next 20 weeks leading up to the world championship competition at Memphis International Raceway. The Summit World Finals at MIR will be the culminating event for all three levels of IHRA drag racing – the Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series, Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL and Summit SuperSeries presented by AMSOIL.

The 2014 IHRA Summit World Finals will act as the final points-paying race for the stars of the Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series, while over 200 racers from both the Summit Pro-Am Tour and Summit SuperSeries will take part in two massive championship tournaments, with only 10 walking away as the 2014 class of IHRA world champions.
