WHAT TO EXPECT: The first stop on the 2014 Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour Division 6 season will take place at Castrol Raceway with two full days of racing. The following is a summary of the weekend schedule.
FRIDAY, JULY 4: Gates will open at 9 a.m. Tech will be open on Friday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. with a test and tune scheduled for 1-5:30 p.m. A bonus round of qualifying for Pro-Am competitors will take place at 5:30 p.m. immediately prior to Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series qualifying at 7 p.m.
SATURDAY, JULY 5: Gates and tech will open at 8 a.m. There will be two time trial/qualifying sessions beginning at 9 a.m. followed immediately by Pro-Am eliminations. Nitro Jam professional competition will get underway at 6 p.m.
SUNDAY, JULY 6: Gates will open at 8 a.m. and God Speed Ministries will host a church service beginning at 8:15 a.m. Racing will get underway at 9 a.m. with one time trial/qualifying session followed immediately by Day 2 eliminations. Nitro Jam eliminations will get underway at 11:30 a.m.

NITRO JAM: In addition to a full weekend of sportsman action, the stars of the IHRA Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series will take center stage all three days. The 2014 IHRA Mopar Rocky Mountain Nationals presented by Good Vibrations Motorsports and Parts Canada will feature competition in Top Fuel Dragster, Nitro Funny Car, Nitro Harley, Pro Modified, Rocky Mountain Nostalgia Funny Car, Alcohol Funny Car, Alcohol Dragster, Jet Dragster and more.
ROAD TO THE TOC: In 2014 the Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL is the only road to the year-end Summit Racing Tournament of Champions showdown in Memphis. Only the top three finishers in each class within each division on the Summit Pro-Am Tour will advance to the championship tournament in October to runoff for the 2014 Summit World Championships and $10,000!
