Attention Racers and Racers Fans
Delays beyond our control and inclement winter/spring weather have made things tough on getting the facility race ready, and with government permit delays a decision has been made for the facility to remain closed till completion. It is with great regret that I need to inform everyone that all the races that were scheduled for the drag strip for this year (2015) have been cancelled. The PDRA, IHRA and other races will be moved to other locations – please check with the sanctioning groups for more information. This was not our intention nor are we happy to make this decision. No one would rather have the facility open more than we would. Please except our apologies for any inconvenience we may have caused. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2016. Satch Gragg Gen. Mgr.
The scheduled Summit Pro-Am Tour event at Carolina over Labor Day weekend September 4-6 will now become a triple event weekend with three separate Pro-Am events scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Monday (Labor Day) will be used as a rain day if needed.
The Carolina Dragway triple will be a Wild Card In Division claim.
A new schedule for this weekend will be posted on IHRA.com within the next week.
