The reborn San Antonio Raceway will play host to the final Summit Pro-Am Tour event of the 2015 season this weekend.  Renegade racers will be competing for both Summit Pro-Am 1st through 3rd place points finishes as well as a coveted spot in the Summit Tournament of Champions world championship race in Memphis at the end of the year.

Current Renegade points leaders Leslie Dugas (TS), Curt Harvey (TD), Jimmy Hildago Jr. (SS), Jimmy Hildago Sr. (ST), Kevin Bracey (QR), Tommy Phillips (SR), Dennis Clark (HR), Landon Exner (Jr. Beginner), Carson Wenger (Jr. Advanced) and Tyler Poindexter (Jr. Master) will all look to close out their Summit championships this weekend.

Some of the closest point’s battles are for the final spots in the Summit Tournament of Champions.  In Top Sportsman just 5 points separate 3rd and 4th place.  In Top Dragster 5 points separates 2nd and 3rd while just 3 points separates 3rd and 4th place.  In Super Stock and in Junior Advanced just 1 point separates 3rd and 4th place.

Gates open at noon on Friday, with a test & tune slated for 3pm to 9pm.  Qualifying begins Saturday at 9am and the first of the two weekend races will begin after the second qualifying run.  Sunday’s race will begin after the 9am qualifying run.
