"We wanted to make this call as early as possible for the racers and I want to thank Lanny, Val and Gary at State Capitol for being proactive on this decision" said IHRA Division 4 director Frank Kohutek.  "We collectively felt that with all the flooding in the region and Thursday through Saturday forecast calling for more heavy rains that it would be in everyone's best interest to postpone the event and not create any hardships for our racers.  We are early enough in the season where we can make this up without it becoming a problem".

The next event on the Division 4 schedule will be the national event double weekend at San Antonio Raceway April 1-3.
