Lance Pinto Claims First of Two IHRA Super Rod $5,000 Bonus Payouts At Keystone Summit Sportsman National Championship Event

Monday, 10 July 2017

Lance Pinto from Walworth New York emerged victorious in Super Rod on Sunday at the Keystone Summit Sportsman National Championship event to claim the first of two $5,000 Super Rod bonus payments.  The second $5,000 Super Rod bonus will be paid to this Sunday's Super Rod champion at Maryland International Raceway.

During Summit Sportsman National Championship event weekends at Keystone Raceway Park and Maryland International Raceway (July 14-16), the Sunday race winner in Super Rod will receive a bonus of $5,000 in addition to posted purse and contingency awards.

"It is always rewarding to see people give back to the sport that they enjoy.  Here we have someone who enjoys the IHRA program and wants to give anonymously to racers and I think that is a wonderful thing” said Mike Baker, IHRA Senior Director of Racing Operations.  “We are excited and very appreciative of this gesture and look forward to awarding this nice bonus to the Maryland Sunday Super Rod winner this weekend.”
