Brad Roberts, from Carthage, Texas, was the runner-up Saturday and claimed $2,000 as his prize.  Roberts has been an IHRA member for many years with Pine Valley Raceway in Lufkin, Texas being his home track.  Roberts won the 2010 Summit Team Finals for the Division 4 Renegades.

 

 

However, by being an IHRA Summit SuperSeries member, Roberts picked up an extra $600. In addition, he also used many products from IHRA partners that support bracket racers through the Summit Sportsman Spectacular contingency program that were added to his weekend winnings.

 

Many great products are used on Brad’s car such as Summit Racing Equipment, Sunoco Race Fuels, Mickey Thompson Tires, QA1 High Performance Shocks, Suspension, Driveshafts, and Rod Ends, Performance Torque Converters, and Strange Engineering. 

 

“Being part of the IHRA Summit SuperSeries at my home track is an amazing experience.” Roberts commented.

 

“With so many companies supporting the IHRA and bracket racing it makes being a member very special and rewarding. I love being part of the IHRA and can’t wait to attend the Summit Sportsman Spectacular race at Xtreme Raceway Park in June!” an excited Roberts continued. 

 

 

Racers can take advantage of IHRA’s contingency program by becoming an IHRA member and joining the Summit SuperSeries at their IHRA member track. The membership will allow a competitor the opportunity to take advantage of the contingency program during Summit Sportsman Spectacular events throughout the year.
