Weather Forecast Forces Postponement of IHRA Summit Sportsman Spectacular at Xtreme Raceway Park

FERRIS, Texas (March 22, 2019) — Due to a high probability of rain for the next couple of days, officials with the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) and Xtreme Raceway Park have postponed this weekend’s IHRA Summit Sportsman Spectacular event.

A rescheduled date will be determined over the next few days. 

 

“Xtreme Raceway Park is a premier facility and we want the racers to have the best experience possible at our IHRA Summit Sportsman Spectacular events,” IHRA Division 4, 6 and 7 Director Frank Kohutek said. “We have to keep the racers’ best interests in mind and that’s why we decided it was best to postpone the event based on the projected forecast.” 

 

The next IHRA Summit Sportsman Spectacular event is scheduled for March 29-31 at State Capitol Raceway, Port Allen, La.
